Competitive Programming

I’ve had a lot of fun during my decade-long journey in competitive programming. Here are some selected awards:

  • 6th Place, The 47th International Collegiate Programming Contest, Xi’an Regional (Teammates: Jiarong Zhao, Luhao Yan)
  • Gold Medal, The 47th International Collegiate Programming Contest, Shenyang Regional (Teammates: Jiarong Zhao, Luhao Yan)
  • Gold Medal, 2022 China Collegiate Programming Contest, Guilin Site (Teammates: Jiarong Zhao, Luhao Yan)

Besides that, I did some problemsetting in the competitive programming community, and I also serve as a member of the Technical Operation Team of several competitive programming contests, including The 2025-2026 ICPC China Hubei(Wuhan) National Invitational Programming Contest.

ACGN Related

In my spare time, I am a big fan of ACGN culture. I particularly enjoy story-driven games—especially those that conclude on a positive note—as well as attending comic conventions, cosplaying, watching anime, and creating fan content. (I prefer to keep my creative persona separate from my academic profile. If you come across my accounts, feel free to share them, but please keep my identity anonymous! Always happy to chat about it privately, though.)

Fun Facts

  • Yali or Yale? You might spot me in apparel that looks remarkably like Yale’s. It’s actually from my alma mater, Yali High School. Founded by the Yale-China Association in 1906, the school shares a deep historical bond with its namesake in New Haven. And the name “Yali” (雅礼) is the original transliteration of “Yale” used when the Yale-China Association was established in 1901.
